80CrV2 High carbon steel with classic acid edge, tapered tang, full grind, and a Rockwell hardness of 58 to 60.

This knife was designed in cooperation with a Clinton Utility Board lineman. It is designed to be a linemans knife that will easily work around large wire with gloves. Because of the 80CrV2 steel that is used, it has excellent edge retention for heavy use in the field.
This handmade knife is made by knife artisan Samuel Riner in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Clinton, Tennessee, USA.
